Cyprus opened to travel from select countries from June 9

The Transport Minister for Cyprus has said the country will open to direct flights from 19 countries from June 9. The countries allowed are Greece, Malta, Bulgaria, Norway, Austria, Finland, Slovenia, Hungary, Israel, Denmark, Germany, Slovakia and Lithuania.

There will then be a second stage of opening on June 20, which will add Switzerland, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Estonia and the Czech Republic to the list.

All visitors will have to test negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours of their flight from 9 June. However, as of June 20 the initial countries will no longer need to take the test, though those from the additions will.
