Located on a quiet West Hollywood street, the Petit Ermitage boutique hotel features 80 rooms and is just minutes from the well-known Sunset Strip, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Troubadour nightclub. The hotel is filled with European styled antiques and artworks, with original works by Miro, DeKooning, Erte, Rauschenberg and Dali of particular merit. Luxurious amenities include a guest-only rooftop pool, bar and restaurant.

Pets are allowed with an additional charge of $150, and are offered a dog bed, water bowl, and treats on arrival. Dogs are also welcome on the hotel rooftop.

The Redbury

1717 Vine Street

This bohemian-style, boutique hotel situated close to Hollywood Boulevard provides 57 chic apartments, each with its own kitchen and balcony. Features include a business center, fitness center, spa, and transportation services.

Pets weighing 40 lbs or less are welcome for an additional price of $120 for stays up to seven days, with pet sitting and grooming services available.

Chamberlain

1000 Westmount Dr, West Hollywood

Placed in a 1970’s apartment block, this luxurious and glamorous hotel features 114 suites, each with marble bathrooms and fireplaces. There is also a communal pool and a guests-only restaurant. The hotel is situated just a five-minute walk away from the Sunset Strip, which is brimming with nightlife.

The Chamberlain West Hollywood allows one pet up to 50 lbs per guest on request, at a fee of $125 per stay.

Hotel Palomar

10740 Wilshire Boulevard

Located on the trendy stretch of Wilshire Boulevard, guests are right on the doorstep of world-class museums, restaurants and shops. This luxury hotel offers everything from a 24-hour fitness center, in-room yoga mats, and a morning tea and coffee service, to a valet and laundry service.

Pets are welcome free of charge, including no weight or size restrictions, and on arrival your pet is offered a water bowl, bed and food.

“West Hollywood has always been a very dog-friendly neighborhood, so we provided an entrance to our outdoor patio just for dogs. Water in a plastic container can be provided by a server if the owner requests. The drought in California affects all our guests.”

Sqirl

This trendy brunch spot in Silver Lake features classic breakfast and lunch meals, with a modern twist. You’ll find everything from pasta, to a cooked breakfast and even desserts, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets catered for.

Dogs are more than welcome on the outdoor patio, so much so that Sqirl has an instagram account, @dogsofsqirl, dedicated to all the wonderful pooches that make their way to the restaurant with their owners.
