The West Coast office of leading aircraft charter specialist, Air Charter Service, is set to have its record year, having already arranged as many charters as in 2014, with two months of its financial year still left.
Thomas Howe, President of the Los Angeles operation, comments: “Our revenue is 12% up year on year and we have chartered more flights than last year already. Since the start of our financial year (February 1st) we have added five new staff to the office – we now have the perfect mix of experienced account managers who have come in from other ACS offices, mixed with a great local team.
“The private jet market in the region has been really buoyant for us this year – combined with the new staff contributing positive figures, we are having a great 2015.
“The West Coast port shutdown gave us a flying start to the year. We arranged many charters ourselves, as well as helping to coordinate our Hong Kong office’s charters this end. And the business has kept pace all year so far.
“It’s an exciting time to be part of this office and we are looking forward to adding new recruits next year as well.”
