Air Charter Service transports election ballot papers
We were approached to transport sensitive materials vital to the elections in the Central African Republic, safely and securely from Shanghai to Bangui.
SOLUTION
This complex job involved coordinating 11 flights to transport the sensitive cargo to Nigeria from Greece, Spain and Bulgaria. Our experienced team quickly identified the Boeing B747 as the best aircraft for a job of this scale and used our strong relationships with airlines to obtain competitive quotes for each route. Once the client had chosen their preferred partner, we booked the flights and finalised the logistics.
We were initially contacted about the project in December 2018 and had completed the final delivery by the end of February 2019, with each aircraft moving over 1,000 tonnes of cargo. Our offices worked together seamlessly throughout the process, combining global expertise with local knowledge to deliver the most effective solution. An ACS representative was present on the tarmac to oversee the loading of each and every flight, allowing us to give the client real-time updates and quickly overcome any logistical obstacles.
