Australia is one of those places that you simply cannot see all of on one trip. It demands to be visited time and time again to really show you all it has to offer. With this in mind we’ve created our dream journey for someone heading to Australia for the first time, trying to cram in as much as possible and get a real feel for just what this epic country has to offer.

We start our journey in Sydney, one of Australia’s biggest cities, and home to the iconic harbour bridge and opera house. This is also where you’ll find Bondi Beach, a massive hit with tourists and locals alike. Sydney has a great urban vibe, with plenty of shops and cafes, with The Rocks area offering a historical side to the city.

After thoroughly exploring all Sydney has to offer, we’d hop on a charter up to Cairns to spend some time enjoying tropical Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef. Whether you want to dive, snorkel or swim, there are plenty of options and areas when it comes to getting closer to the reef. For those looking for something a little different, there are also Seawalkers and ScubaDoos. If you’re looking to stay dry, you could opt for a glass bottom boat, or alternatively take a helicopter or seaplane tour for a bird’s eye view of this beautiful natural wonder.

We would then head on to another of Australia’s wonders, the iconic Uluru, also previously known as Ayers Rock. If you can, try to get a room at Sails in the Desert and try the Sound of Silence dinner for spectacular views and great food. There is plenty of hiking available in the area, and a hike around the base of Uluru with an Aborigine guide is a must to learn all about their history and the spiritual connection they share.

Last but by no means least, hop on board your charter to the west coast, where you can explore one of the cities, hike out in the wilds or head out to sea once again. The west coast is an ideal spot for swimming with whale sharks and dolphins and has some great reef, ideal if your time in the dry heart of Australia has you yearning for the ocean again. The Kimberley Region in the north of Western Australia is one of the least densely populated areas in the world, and the landscape is simply spectacular, with favourites such as the Bungle Bungle range and the lakes of Kununurra.

If our whistlestop tour of this epic country has inspired you to explore, why not charter to Australia with Air Charter Service and hop across the vast outback, saving as much time as possible for exploring, rather than sitting in an airport.
