Leading aircraft charter specialist, Air Charter Service, has invested in its Manhattan operation and moved into a new office in the heart of the city’s financial district.

Richard Thompson, President of ACS’s Americas offices, commented: “We opened an office in Manhattan to complement our North American HQ in Uniondale, as we felt it was necessary to have an office in the city. After outgrowing the first space we had, we moved the office to Chelsea, Manhattan, more than three years ago. We have now also outgrown that – this new office is much more than twice the size of the last one, and lies on Water Street, just a couple of blocks from Wall Street, in the heart of the financial district, and with stunning views, from the 33rd floor, over Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge.

“This move to the bigger office gives us the extra space needed, allowing us to fulfil our expansion plans for the team here, as we look to further grow our business in the city.”

The office was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, commemorative cakes and champagne last week, attended by Richard Thompson and other North American directors.
