Private jet charter and flights to Fiji
The Republic of Fiji is an archipelago of over 300 picture-perfect islands in the South Pacific. Here, sugar-white sands are fringed by palm trees gently swaying in the tropical breeze and turquoise lagoons are rich in marine life. Air Charter Service can help you charter flights to Fiji so you can spend as much time as possible exploring its glorious beaches, instead of queueing in airports.
The islands run on ‘Fiji time’ and in surroundings such as these it’s easy to adopt the Fijians’ unhurried, easy-going attitude. Most visitors spend their days soaking up the sun, sipping fresh fruit cocktails and seeking out secluded beaches. Fiji’s underwater world is spectacularly psychedelic, with rainbow-coloured reefs and over 1,500 types of fish, manta rays and dolphins inhabiting the clear waters. Snorkelling and diving are two of the most popular activities, alongside day cruises to Robinson Crusoe-style islands and jet-ski safaris. On land, traditional villages welcome visitors with their famously warm hospitality and there are abundant hiking and birdwatching opportunities.
Fiji’s largest island is Viti Levu, home to over two-thirds of the archipelago’s population. Its capital, Suva, is a port city with colonial buildings and colourful markets, while the southern Coral Coast has a lively stretch of resorts. Other highlights on Viti Levu include the Sigatoka sand dunes, the fast-flowing Navua River, the tranquil Garden of the Sleeping Giant and the rainforest of Colo-i-Suva Forest Park.
The second largest island, Vanua Levu, is far less touristy than Viti Levu, with just one sealed road and a scattering of hotels amid sugarcane farms, coconut plantations and rainforest. The highlight here is Savusavu Bay, a lush sweep of coastline with turquoise reefs just offshore.
Some of Fiji’s most idyllic islands can be easily accessed via the main airport, Nadi International Airport, which is located on Viti Levu. The Mamanucas are a group of tiny islands which featured in the 2000 movie Cast Away, starring Tom Hanks and Helen Hunt. Popular with day-trippers, we recommend staying the night to fully appreciate the natural beauty without the crowds.
Fiji has long been popular on the backpacker circuit, but there are some real high-end gems here, too. The sleek Vomo Island Resort occupies an exclusive private island in the Mamanucas, while on Malolo Island, the world-class Likuliku Lagoon Resort has overwater villas – complete with direct lagoon access – that could rival the Maldives.
When chartering a flight to Fiji, we recommend flying into Nadi International Airport and chartering a private plane from here to explore the other islands. Simply contact our team and we’ll arrange everything you need to charter a private jet to Fiji, ensuring an exclusive experience from the moment you leave home.
