Charter a Plane to some of The Best Fourth of July Festivities in the US
On the Fourth of July, the sky lights up with spectacular fireworks displays over cities across America. Some destinations go above and beyond, putting on incredible shows and throwing elegant parties to go along with them. We’ve created a guide to the most exclusive celebrations that offer epic views worth flying for. Once you settle on one, we’ll charter a plane to get you there in style.
The nation’s capital puts on an Independence Day celebration like no other. However, you won’t be the only one coming to be a part of it. Tourists from across the country flock to see the biggest celebration in the nation and this means the airport gets crowded. Gather a group of friends and charter a plane to Reagan Airport to land at a private terminal and bypass the crowds. We can have a chauffeur waiting to bring you to one of the most luxurious hotels in Washington, the Hay-Adams, for the most elegant party in town.
First, settle in and enjoy a fabulous three-course dinner with wine pairings. Then, head up to the Top of the Hay on the ninth floor. The venue has wraparound windows and a large terrace with panoramic views of the city. Enjoy cocktails or Champagne from the full bar, and desserts while you watch the fireworks over the White House, the monuments and the National Mall. It doesn’t get more patriotic than this. The experience is only available for in-house guests, so visit the official website to make a reservation here.
New York City
The annual Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks show is one of America’s most beloved celebrations. This year, the show will take place over the East River, offering stunning views of the fireworks over the city’s iconic bridges. Charter a plane to Teterboro Airport to avoid the city’s notoriously crowded airports. We’ll have a driver pick you up on the tarmac and whisk you away to your hotel so you can freshen up before the big event.
New Yorkers congregate in parks along the river to watch the show, but there are far more luxurious ways to celebrate Independence Day. For an unforgettable evening, there’s no venue that tops the tallest building in the city. One World Trade Center will open its observatory for an incredible evening, details to be announced soon. Tickets are not yet available for purchase, but will be available at this link.
Music aficionados must experience the Boston fireworks at least once in a lifetime. Book a private jet charter to Boston’s Logan International Airport to arrive into a private terminal just minutes from the show. The fireworks display is set to the soundtrack of a live performance by the famous Boston Pops Orchestra. The orchestra is set to play Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, accompanied by actual cannon fire. To see the show in person, head to the DCR Hatch Shell, where the Pops will be performing. The concert is completely free, so you will need to arrive very early to claim your spot. The grassy seating area, called the “Oval,” fills up shortly after doors open at 9:00am, so a long day is in store.
For a more exclusive experience, bring your friends and family and make a reservation at the elegant Top of the Hub restaurant on the 52nd floor at the top of Back Bay's Prudential Tower. Details for the annual Fourth of July celebration have not yet been announced, but it’s best to make a reservation now at the official website.
As America’s birthplace, Philadelphia hosts one of the most spirited celebrations of the nation’s birthday. The city throws one of the biggest free parties in the country, with food and entertainment all day long. Fly to Northeast Philadelphia Airport to land just 13 miles from the Independence Day festivities. On Benjamin Franklin Parkway, a free concert will be headlined by Mary J. Blige. Also performing will be the Philly POPS Big Band, jazz singer Tony DeSare and Mandy Gonzalez of Hamilton fame.
For a more exclusive experience, head to the Hotel Monaco in the Old City along the Delaware River. Stratus, the hotel’s rooftop bar and restaurant, has stunning views of Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell and onto the Fourth of July fireworks at Penn’s Landing. Be sure to make a reservation, as it’s expected to fill up.
