Quarantine-free holidays - the destinations


Grant Shapps, Secretary of State for Transport of the United Kingdom, has announced that holidaymakers from England will be free, from next week, to travel to around 60 countries without facing quarantine for 14 days.

The list includes:

Finland

Grenada
Guadeloupe
Hong Kong
Hungary
Iceland
Italy
Jamaica
Japan
Liechtenstein
Lithuania
Luxembourg
Macau
Malta
Mauritius
Monaco
Netherlands
New Caledonia
New Zealand
Norway
Poland
Réunion
San Marino
Serbia
Seychelles
South Korea
Sint Eustatius and Saba
Spain
St Barthélemy
St Kitts and Nevis
St Lucia
St Pierre and Miquelon
Switzerland
Taiwan

For countries that appear in the ‘red’ list, the Foreign Office advice against all but essential travel will remain in force. These include Brazil, Mexico, Sweden and the US with Portugal under renewed scrutiny after an outbreak of COVID-19 in and around Lisbon.
