Monroe County Airport is a public-use airport and is located five miles southwest of Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana.
Situated on 1,035 acres of land, it has two asphalt runways. Runway 17/35 was originally 1,585 metres, but was lengthened to 1,981 metres, long enough for it to accommodate Boeing 727’s.
