HURRICANE MELISSA BRINGS DEVASTATION TO JAMAICA

Due to the impact of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica, ACS continues to monitor conditions closely and is actively supporting passenger and cargo flight requests to and from the island.

ACS ACTIVITY

ACS is conducting multiple evacuation and relief flights across Jamaica for commercial, private, and governmental clients, and has a representative on the ground. We are closely monitoring airport operations to ensure we can respond swiftly as the situation evolves.

Norman Manley International Airport Kingston KIN 8,911FT | 2,716M KIN can accommodate all charter types, including wide and narrow body aircraft. KIN is fully operational.
Sangster International Airport Montego Bay MBJ 10,039FT | 3,060M MBJ can accommodate all charter types, including wide and narrow body aircraft. MBJ is open for relief flights and limited commercial flights. The airport has sustained some damage, and a number of gates remain out of service. Its main deck high loader is currently non-operational but is expected to be back in service by the end of the week.
Ian Fleming International Airport Ocho Rios/Boscobel OCJ 4,769FT | 1,454M Runway Length at OCJ means operations are limited to turboprops. OCJ has resumed operations, including commercial flights.
Tinson Pen Aerodrome Kingston KTP 4,300FT | 1,311M Runway length at KTP means operations are limited to mid-sized turboprops. The airport is currently open.
Ken Jones Aerodrome Saint Margarets Bay POT 3,425 FT | 1,044M Runway length at KTP means operations are limited to small and mid-sized private jets and helicopters. The airport is currently open. No refuelling facilities onsite. Daylight operations only.
