Hosted by 15-time Grammy Award-winner Alicia Keys, the annual Black Ball promises a night of electrifying music and gourmet cuisine, all for a worthy cause.
This year’s Black Ball will feature performances by A$AP Rocky, Patti Smith, and Alicia Keys herself. In addition to musical performances, Clive Davis, the Chief Creative Officer of Sony Music Entertainment, will be honored for his lifelong commitment to fighting AIDS. Dinner comes courtesy of celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson, and is included in a main-floor ticket.
The theme of the evening is reinvigorating the spirit of activism that was so alive in the 1980s. A touch of 80s style is encouraged. While the event will be live-streamed, a view from your laptop just can’t come close to the real thing.
