ANGOLA - published 18.03.2020

1. Passengers and airline crew who have been in China (People's Rep.), France, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Portugal or Spain are not allowed to enter Angola. This also applies to passengers and airline crew who have been in contact with people infected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

- This does not apply to airline crew and nationals of Angola.

2. Residents of Angola, airline crew and nationals of Angola who arrive from or have been in China (People's Rep.), France, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Portugal or Spain will be put in quarantine.

3. A completed sanitary control sheet must be presented to the National Directorate of Public Health of the Ministry of Health upon arrival.

 

BENIN - published 18.03.2020

Passengers are subject to quarantine for 14 days.

 

BOTSWANA - published 19.03.2020

1. Passengers arriving from Austria, Belgium, China (People's Rep.), Denmark, France, Germany, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea (Rep.), Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA or United Kingdom are not allowed to enter Botswana.

- This does not apply to nationals of Botswana.

- This does not apply to passengers who reside in Botswana.

2. Nationals and residents of Botswana will be quarantined for 14 days.

3. Passengers can no longer obtain a visa on arrival in Botswana..

4. Visas issued to nationals of Austria, Belgium, China (People's Rep.), Denmark, France, Germany, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea (Rep.), Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland or USA are invalidated.

5. Visas issued to passengers with a British passport with nationality "British Citizen" are invalidated.

 

BURKINA FASO - published 26.03.2020

Bobo Dioulasso (BOY) and Ouagadougou (OUA) are closed.

 

COMOROS ISLANDS - published 23.03.2020

Flights to Comoros are suspended.

 

CONGO - published 26.03.2020

All airports in Congo are closed.

 

COTE D'IVOIRE - published 25.03.2020

Cote d'Ivoire borders are closed.

 

DJIBOUTI- published 24.03.2020

Flights to Djibouti are suspended.

 

EGYPT - published 19.03.2020

Passengers are not allowed to enter Egypt until 31 March 2020.

 

ETHIOPIA - published 22.03.2020

Effective 23 March 2020, all passengers arriving in Ethiopia will be placed in a mandatory quarantine at the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel for 14 days at their own expense.

 

GABON - published 16.03.2020

Passengers who have been in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China (People's Rep.), Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Ireland (Rep.), Korea (Rep.), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, USA or the United Kingdom in the last 14 days are not allowed to enter Gabon.

- This does not apply to nationals and residents of Gabon.

 

GHANA - published 22.03.2020

1. Flights to Ghana are suspended until 5 April 2020.

2. Passengers and airline crew will be quarantined upon arrival.

 

IRAN - published 25.02.2020

1. Nationals of China (People's Rep.) with a normal passport, passengers with a Hong Kong (SAR China) passport and passengers with a Macao (SAR China) passport are no longer visa exempt. However, they can obtain a visa on arrival. They are required to clear the medical and health check upon arrival. After that they will be given a certificate.

2. Based on the travel advisory restriction issued by United Arab Emirates Government, nationals of United Arab Emirates are not allowed to travel to Iran.

 

IRAQ - published 18.03.2020

1.Passengers are not allowed to enter via Baghdad (BGW) until 24 March 2020, 23:00.

2.Nationals of China (People's Rep.) are not allowed to enter.

3.Nationals of Iran are not allowed to enter.

-This does not apply at Erbil (EBL) and Sulaymaniyah (ISU).

4.Passengers who have been in China (People's Rep.), Hong Kong (SAR China), Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea (Rep.), Macao (SAR China), Singapore or Thailand in the past 14 days are not allowed to enter Iraq.

-This does not apply at Erbil (EBL) and Sulaymaniyah (ISU).

-This does not apply to nationals and residents of Iraq who will be quarantined for 14 days.

5. Nationals of Iraq who have been in China (People's Rep.), Hong Kong (SAR China), Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea (Rep.), Macao (SAR China), Singapore or Thailand in the past 14 days will be quarantined for 14 days.

- This does not apply at Erbil (EBL) and Sulaymaniyah (ISU).

6.Nationals of Bahrain, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea Rep., Kuwait, Qatar, Singapore, Spain and Thailand are not allowed to enter via Baghdad (BGW), Basra (BSR) and Najaf (NJF).

7.Passengers who have been in Bahrain, China (People's Rep.), France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea Rep., Kuwait, Qatar, Singapore, Spain and Thailand in the past 14 days are not allowed to enter via Baghdad (BGW), Basra (BSR) and Najaf (NJF)

8. Nationals of Iran with a normal passport are not allowed to enter via Erbil (EBL) and Sulaymaniyah (ISU).

9.Nationals of Bahrain and Kuwait with a normal passport are not allowed to enter via Erbil (EBL) and Sulaymaniyah (ISU).

10.Passengers who have been in Iran on or after 1 January 2020 are not allowed to enter via Erbil (EBL) and Sulaymaniyah (ISU).

11.Passengers who have been in Bahrain, China (People's Rep.), France, Hong Kong (SAR China), Italy, Japan, Korea Rep., Kuwait, Macao (SAR China), Singapore, Spain or Thailand, in the last 30 days are not allowed to enter via Erbil (EBL) and Sulaymaniyah (ISU).

12.Passengers who have been in Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland Rep., Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland or the United Kingdom in the last 30 days, when arriving at Erbil (EBL) and Sulaymaniyah (ISU) will be quarantined.

13.Nationals of Iraq who on or after 1 January 2020 have been in Bahrain, China (People's Rep.), Hong Kong (SAR China), Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea Rep., Kuwait, Macao (SAR China), Singapore, or Thailand, when arriving at Erbil (EBL) and Sulaymaniyah (ISU) will be quarantined.

 

ISRAEL - published 18.03.2020

Passengers are not allowed to enter Israel.

This does not apply to nationals of Israel.

This does not apply to residents of Israel.

This does not apply to passengers that have a specific entry approval from the population and Immigration Authority of Israel.

 

JORDAN - published 18.03.2020

No passengers are allowed to enter Jordan.

 

KENYA - published 23.03.2020

1. International flights are suspended.

2. Nationals and residents of Kenya violating the self-quarantine requirement will be forcefully quarantined for 14 days.

 

KUWAIT - published 12.03.2020

1.Nationals of Kuwait are allowed to enter with a national ID card if they used the card when they departed from Kuwait.

2.Nationals of Kuwait who have been in Bangladesh, China (People's Rep.), Egypt, Hong Kong (SAR China), India, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Korea Rep., Lebanon, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Syria or Thailand in the past 14 days must:

- obtain prior approval to enter from Kuwait Immigration Authorities, and - complete Ministry of Health's form of acknowledgement.

3.Nationals of Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are no longer allowed to enter with a national ID card, they must have a passport.

4.Passengers with a (Hong Kong SAR China) passport and nationals of Italy, Japan, Korea Rep. and Singapore can obtain an emergency visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 7 days if they have not been in Bangladesh, China (People's Rep.), Egypt, Hong Kong (SAR China), India, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Korea Rep., Lebanon, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Syria or Thailand in the past 14 days.

5.Nationals of China (People's Rep.) and Thailand with a residence permit issued by a GCC Member States can obtain emergency visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 7 days if they have not been in Bangladesh, China (People's Rep.), Egypt, Hong Kong (SAR China), India, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Korea Rep., Lebanon, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Syria or Thailand in the past 14 days; and - their profession is: doctor, lawyer, engineer, advisers, judge, pilot, member of the public prosecution, university teacher, journalist, press and media staff, system analyst, pharmacist, manager, computer programmer, businessman, diplomatic corps, owner or manager or representative of commercial companies.

6.Passengers who have been in Bangladesh, China (People's Rep.), Egypt, Hong Kong (SAR China), India, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Korea Rep., Lebanon, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Syria or Thailand in the past 14 days are not allowed to enter Kuwait. - This does not apply to nationals of Kuwait.

7.Immediate family members of nationals of Kuwait are allowed to enter if:

- traveling with the national of Kuwaiti, or

- prior approval to enter is obtained from Kuwait Immigration Authorities. 8.Domestic personnel are allowed to enter Kuwait if traveling with the Kuwaiti Sponsor.

Effective 13 March 2020: All passengers are not allowed to enter Kuwait.

- This does not apply to nationals and residents of Kuwait.

- This does not apply to the immediate relatives and the domestic workers of nationals of Kuwait.

 

MADAGASCAR - published 29.02.2020

Passengers and airline crew who have transited through or have been in China (People's Rep.), Iran, Italy, Korea Rep. in the past 14 days are not allowed to enter Madagascar.

 

MAURITIUS - published 19.03.2020

Passengers are not allowed to enter Mauritius until 2 April 2020, 6:00GMT.

- This does not apply to nationals of Mauritius, their spouses and children. They will be placed in quarantine.

- This does not apply to residents of Mauritius, their spouses and children. They will be placed in quarantine.

 

NAMIBIA - published 25.03.2020

Namibia's borders are closed until 23 April 2020.

 

NIGERIA - published 24.03.2020

1. Airports are closed until 23 April 2020.

2. Airlines must submit passenger manifest to Port Health Authorities before arriving in Nigeria.

 

OMAN - published 18.03.2020

Passengers are not allowed to enter Oman.

- This does not apply to nationals of Oman.

 

QATAR - published 18.03.2020

Passengers are not allowed to enter Qatar.

- This does not apply to nationals of Qatar.

 

SAUDI ARABIA – published 15.03.2020
Passengers are not allowed to enter Saudi Arabia.
-This does not apply to nationals of Saudi Arabia.

 

SENEGAL - published 24.03.2020

Flights to Senegal are suspended until 17 April 2020.

 

SEYCHELLES - published 18.03.2020
1. Passengers and airline crew who have been in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China (People's Rep.), Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong (SAR China), Hungary, Iceland, Iran, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Korea (Rep.), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao (SAR China), Malta, Mayotte, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland or the United Kingdom in the past 14 days are not allowed to transit or enter Seychelles.
- This does not apply to nationals and residents of Seychelles.

2. Passengers residing in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China (People's Rep.), Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong (SAR China), Hungary, Iceland, Iran, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Korea (Rep.), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao (SAR China), Malta, Mayotte, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland or the United Kingdom are not allowed to transit or enter Seychelles.
- This does not apply to nationals of Seychelles.

3. Nationals and residents of Seychelles who have been in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China (People's Rep.), Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong (SAR China), Hungary, Iceland, Iran, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Korea (Rep.), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao (SAR China), Malta, Mayotte, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland or the United Kingdom in the past 14 days will be put in quarantine for a period of 14 days upon arrival.

 

SIERRA LEONE - published 26.03.2020
1. Passengers who have transited through or have been in any country with 50 or more confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the past 14 days are required to enter facility quarantine for maximum 14 days.

2. Passengers who have transited through or have been in any country with less than 50 confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the past 14 days are required to undergo home quarantine for maximum 14 days

 

SOMALIA - published 16.03.2020
Passengers arriving from China (People's Rep.), Iran, Italy or Korea (Rep.) are not allowed to enter Somalia.

 

SOUTH AFRICA - published 24.03.2020
1. Flights to Lanseria Airport (HLA) are suspended.

2. Passengers who have been in China (People's Rep.), France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Spain, Switzerland, USA or United Kingdom are not allowed to transit or enter South Africa. - This does not apply to nationals of South Africa. - This does not apply to passengers with a visa or a permanent residence permit issued by South Africa.
3. Passengers who have been in Hong Kong (SAR China), Portugal and Singapore must have a visa and they are subject to extra screening.

4. Nationals of Germany, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Portugal, Singapore, Spain and USA are no longer visa exempt.

5. Passengers with a British Citizen passport or a Hong Kong (SAR China) passport are no longer visa exempt.

6. Nationals of Germany, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Portugal, Singapore, Spain and USA are only allowed to transit through Johannesburg (JNB) or Cape Town (CPT) to return to their country of nationality if they have not been to Germany, Hong Kong (SAR China), Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Portugal, Singapore, Spain, USA and United Kingdom in the past 14 days.

7. Passengers with a British Citizen passport or a Hong Kong (SAR China) passport are only allowed to transit through Johannesburg (JNB) or Cape Town (CPT) to return to their country of nationality if they have not been to Germany, Hong Kong (SAR China), Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Portugal, Singapore, Spain, USA and United Kingdom in the past 14 days.

8. Nationals and residents of South Africa returning from China (People's Rep.), France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Spain, Switzerland, USA or United Kingdom will be placed under quarantine for 14 days.

9. Visitors arriving in South Africa after 9 March 2020 from China (People's Rep.), France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Spain, Switzerland, USA or United Kingdom will be confined to their hotels until they have completed a 14-day period of quarantine.

10. A completed health questionnaire must be presented to Port Health upon arrival.

 

SUDAN - published 25.03.2020
All airports in Sudan are closed.

 

TANZANIA - published 23.03.2020

1. All passengers must undergo quarantine for 14 days at their own expense. - This does not apply to airline crew.

2. Airline crew arriving in Zanzibar (ZNZ) will be quarantined at the airlines designated hotels.

3. A completed "Health Form" must be presented to the Ministry of Health personnel upon arrival.

 

TUNISIA - published 23.03.2020

1. Passengers who have been or transited in China (People's Rep.), Egypt, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Spain or the United Kingdom in the past 14 days are not allowed to transit or enter Tunisia. - This does not apply to nationals of Tunisia, their partners and children.

2. Nationals of Tunisia, their partners and children who have been or transited in China (People's Rep.), Egypt, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Spain or the United Kingdom in the past 14 days will be put in quarantine for 14 days.

 

UGANDA - published 22.03.2020

All international flights to Uganda are suspended.

 

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - published 24.03.2020

Flights to United Arab Emirates are suspended from 24 March 2020 23:59 Local Time until 9 April 2020 23:59 Local Time. - This does not apply to the following:

a) aircraft operated for the purpose of evacuation (this Safety Decision does not alleviate the need for obtaining necessary authorisation from UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation);

b) UAE registered aircraft that are out of base on 24 March 2020 23:59 Local Time will be allowed to return to base carrying only UAE nationals and operator's crewmembers;

c) domestic flights;
